LaSalle Hotel Properties (the “Registrant”) hereby incorporates by reference herein the description of its 6.3% Series J Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares of Beneficial Interest, $0.01 par value per share (the “Series J Preferred Shares”), to be registered hereunder set forth under the heading “Description of the Series J Preferred Shares” in the Registrant’s prospectus supplement, dated May 18, 2016, to the prospectus, dated November 13, 2015 (the “Prospectus”), forming part of the Registrant’s registration statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-208015) filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and related information under the heading “Description of Shares of Beneficial Interest—Preferred Shares” in the Prospectus.
