On April 6, 2005, EPIX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing the initiation of a Phase II proof-of-concept trial for EP-2104R, EPIX’s injectable magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) agent designed to detect blood clots throughout the body.
