On August 23, 2004, Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corporation (the
"Registrant") issued a press release regarding its financial results for the
second quarter ended June 30, 2004. A copy of the press release is attached
hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by this reference.
