Notification of Major Interest in Shares
In accordance with the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) the Company was informed on 7 July 2006 that HBOS plc, on its own behalf and
on behalf of those of its subsidiaries which held a material interest ("HBOS"), had decreased their material interest by 540,792
ordinary shares since their last filing on 1 August 2005. HBOS's revised material interest amounts to 30,139,785 ordinary shares of
10p each, representing 3.99% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
