On April 24, 2008, Rubicon Technology, Inc. (“Rubicon”) issued a press release and Rubicon will host a conference call on April 24, 2008 at 7:30 a.m. Central Daylight Time to announce its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2008. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
