On August 14, 2008, Schmitt Industries, Inc. issued a press release entitled “Schmitt Industries Files Form 10-K for Fiscal Year 2008; Net Income Increases $202,000 from Previously Announced Results.” A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
