          In a press release dated October 5, 2005, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated announced that it raised $185,000 for hurricane relief through staff member donations and a matching contribution by The Cheesecake Factory Oscar & Evelyn Overton Charitable Foundation during the Company’s “$5 to Survive” fundraiser.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
