Item 8.01. Other Events
On December 5, 2006, Ashland Inc. announced that it has completed its
purchase of the assets of Northwest Coatings of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, a
formulator and manufacturer of adhesives and coatings employing
ultra-violet and electron beam (UV/EB) polymerization technologies. The
transaction included production facilities in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and
Greensboro, North Carolina.
