Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Lothar F. P. Freund, Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. (the “Company”) and a named executive officer, is leaving the Company pursuant to the mutual agreement of Dr. Freund and the Company. Following a transition period, Dr. Freund will leave the Company in the fourth quarter of 2016. Subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions, Dr. Freund will receive the severance benefits and entitlements set forth in the Company’s applicable plans and policies. Any other severance benefits, if any, will be determined by the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company and reported in an amendment to this Current Report.
