RESOLUTION OF THE SUPERINTENDENCY OF FINANCE

Medellín, Colombia, April 24, 2007

Pursuant to Decree 3139 of 2006, Bancolombia S.A. (“Bancolombia”) notifies that the Superintendency of Finance issued Resolution No. 0542 of 2007, whereby it imposed a fine on Bancolombia for the amount of Ps. 30 million. The fine was imposed due to an operative error which caused, in 2006, the collection of interest at a rate above the maximum permitted, for a total amount of Ps 32.1 million.

The decision imposing the fine is not final yet. Bancolombia is currently analyzing the possibility of filing an appeal against such decision.
