March 27, 2015, the Board of Directors of Macy’s, Inc. (“Macy’s) elected John
A. Bryant to serve as a 
non-employee member of  Macy’s Board of Directors,
effective immediately.  Mr. Bryant is the Chairman, President and Chief

Executive Officer of Kellogg Company.  The Board also nominated Mr. Bryant for
election as a director at the 2015 annual meeting 
of shareholders, which will
be held on May 15, 2015.  In addition, the Board appointed Mr. Bryant to the
Audit Committee of the Board.   

 

Mr. Bryant will participate in the standard non-employee
director compensation arrangements described in the proxy 
statement for Macy’s May
16, 2014 Annual Meeting of Shareholders under the caption “Further Information
Concerning the Board of Directors.”
