ITEM 7.01.  REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

     LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE: LHO) will report financial results
for the third quarter 2006 on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 after the market
closes.  The Company will conduct its quarterly conference call on
Thursday, October 19, 2006, at 2:00 PM ET.
