ITEM 2.02.   Results of Operations and Financial Condition

On April 18, 2007, First Community Corporation, holding company for First Community Bank, issued a press release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.

As discussed in the press release, the company also announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the repurchase of an additional 50,000 shares of the company’s common stock as part of its existing Share Repurchase Plan. This results in a total of 200,000 shares in the Share Repurchase plan of which 132,000 shares have been repurchased with a total investment of $2.4 million. The timing, price and quantity of purchases under the plan will be at the discretion of management and the plan may be discontinued, suspended or restarted at any time depending on the facts and circumstances.
