Ontario's Cyber Security Centre of Excellence's Third Annual Conference for the Broader Public Sector

Richmond Hill, Ontario Sep 22, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Ontario's Cyber Security Centre of Excellence will be hosting its third annual cybersecurity conference, Managing Digital Risks in the Broader Public Sector, on October 3rd, 2022. For the first time ever, this conference will be held in a hybrid format, providing both in-person and virtual attendees with the chance to hear from leading cybersecurity experts across Ontario. Registration is now open to all members of the broader public sector (BPS) for this event.

Geared towards the BPS, this full-day conference will focus on how employees and organizations can best protect themselves from the ever-evolving cyber threats faced in today's digital age by improving their cyber security capabilities. Attendees will start their day with a keynote address from Melissa Hathaway- President of Hathaway Global Strategies- on the human factor in cyber security, followed by sessions on the cyber security talent gap, diversity in cyber security, and current cyber threats in Ontario. Attendees will also get the chance to hear from the Ontario Government's Cyber Security Expert Panel representatives on their recommendations for improving digital resilience throughout the broader public sector.
