POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- The securities arbitration law firm, Soreide Law Group, is accepting cases nationwide on behalf of Forcefield Energy, Inc. investors. Soreide Law Group has filed their first claim against Newbridge Securities for their failure to supervise their broker Gerald John Cocuzzo ("Cocuzzo") in connection with his role in the Forcefield Energy, Inc. stock fraud. While with Newbridge Securities, the Claimant, represented by Soreide Law Group, a 73-year-old retiree and client of Gerald Cocuzzo, invested $52,000 into Forcefield Energy, stock symbol "FNRG". The purpose of the offering by Forcefield was to raise money for the company's LED lighting segment which distributes LED and other lighting products. The Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") has filed fraud charges against Forcefield and Cocuzzo for defrauding investors and Cocuzzo has pled guilty to his role in the scheme. The scheme involved Forcefield paying kickbacks to Cocuzzo in cash and other brokers in a market manipulation scheme. Upon information and belief, Cocuzzo pushed the majority of his customers at Newbridge Securities into Forcefield and Newbridge Securities failed to intervene.

The Claimant's attorney, Lars Soreide, Esq., has accused Newbridge Securities of negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, negligent supervision, breach of contract, fraud, and other violations of the securities laws. Other brokers and brokerage firms believed to be involved in the Forcefield Energy scheme being investigated by Soreide Law Group are: 1) Pranav Patel of Tamarac, Florida, who was registered with Dawson James Securities, 2) Maroof Miyana of Boca Raton, Florida, who was registered with Legend Securities, 3) Naveed Khan of Staten Island, New York, who was registered with Meyers Associates, and 4) Gerald Cocuzzo with Newbridge Securities in Delray Beach, Florida.

The suit is being arbitrated through FINRA, and Newbridge Securities has yet to file a response.
