To further support the ongoing expansion of its business in North America, TopDevz today announces the addition of Eric Gilbert as Director of Engineering, responsible for the Information Technology and Software Engineering groups.
Eric Gilbert joins TopDevz bringing more than 20 years of experience in software development across a number of vertical sectors. Having worked on a variety of diverse projects and with all mainstream development languages and methodologies, Eric has consistently created value for every project he delivered. As an already accomplished software professional and a strong supporter of agile and lean development methodologies, he continues to develop his skills as a critical thinker and innovative problem solver.
Most recently, prior to joining TopDevz, Eric led the cybersecurity software engineering group at Masergy, a managed network and security service provider. In addition, he has held senior leadership positions at Orthofix, a medical device company, and L3 Communications’ Link Simulation and Training, where he led engineering teams creating high-fidelity flight simulators for federal government customers around the world.
Eric holds an MBA from Dallas Baptist University and a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Oregon State University.
