Avis Budget Group Inc. (Nasdaq: CAR) announced preliminary full year results and adopted a poison pill which sent shares of rival Hertz Global Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HTZ) plunging $3.67 to close at $20.93. Avis stock plummeted $6.64 to close at $42.51.
