HAVRE DE GRACE, Md. - June 15, 2018 - (Newswire.com)

Nexagen Networks Inc. achieved a major milestone on April 23, 2018, delivering the 100th WIN-T Increment 1 Sustainment Maintenance and Repair (SMR) system back to the government improving operational readiness. Nexagen is contracted by the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), Project Manager Tactical Network (formerly WIN-T) and Army Contracting Command (ACC) to improve WIN-T readiness through the maintenance and repair (RESET) of tactical communications systems.

President Rupal Parikh and Chief Operating Officer Rajesh Parikh’s vision is to provide the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) C4ISR community a local Women-Owned Small Business source for systems engineering, prototyping, systems integration, technology enhancements and insertion via the $50 million contract.

“Nexagen has proven our capabilities by delivering 100 high-quality systems, with on-time delivery and with high reliability,” said Rajesh Parikh, COO. “We established a 40,000-square-foot facility in Havre de Grace, Maryland, approximately 10 minutes from Aberdeen Proving Ground to perform the RESET activities.”

“Nexagen’s vision also supports the Maryland economy by bringing new jobs to Harford County,” said Rupal Parikh, president. “This program has created network engineering, satellite communications, software engineering and cyber as well as manufacturing jobs in the Havre de Grace area.” Nexagen is actively involved with the State of Maryland Apprenticeship Program which is a high priority project for Governor Larry Hogan.

“The WIN-T SMR team is the heart of the operation, many being retired or former military and government civilians, and we understand the necessity of providing high-quality products to the warfighter. This team strives to continually improve processes and products to ensure we increase the readiness of WIN-T systems, and ultimately help the warfighters accomplish their missions,” said Terry Claussen, VP enterprise solutions.

Nexagen plans to expand operations near APG for systems engineering, prototyping, systems integration, technology enhancements and Insertion and to provide fix-forward capabilities worldwide. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships with the C4ISR community to increase readiness through sustainment, maintenance, repair and technology enhancement/insertions for C4ISR systems.
