Center for Oral Health in Huntington Beach is Offering Same Day Dental Treatments

The Center for Oral Health in Huntington Beach is now offering same day dental treatments.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, August 02, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Center for Oral Health in Huntington Beach is now offering same day dental treatments. Getting a tooth repaired using the traditional method of placing dental crowns can take up to two dental visits. With same-day dentistry, the same tooth can be repaired in a single visit with minimal waiting. Huntington Beach dentist, Dr. Rassouli, uses CAD/CAM technology to create same-day crowns also known as one-visit crowns right in his office.

These crowns work much like any other crown, and the process of making them is also similar initially. When a patient arrives with a damaged tooth, Dr. Rassouli numbs the treatment area so that he can prepare the tooth. This is done by removing any decayed or damaged tissue and shaping the tooth to receive the crown.

Next, Dr. Rassouli uses a special handheld digital scanner to take a virtual impression of the tooth. With this impression, the crown can be made to precise specifications using the in-office milling unit. Each same-day crown is made using a single block of porcelain for strength and durability. As soon as a crown is milled, it can be checked for fit and appearance and then bonded to the tooth. The entire process can be completed in a single appointment, eliminating the need for return appointments, temporary crowns and additional anesthetic injections.

The Center for Oral Health offers complete dental care for patients of all ages, including emergency dentistry, dental implants, periodontal surgery, dental sedation, tooth-colored dental fillings, TMJ treatments and sleep apnea treatments. Dr. Rassouli is also an Invisalign Premier Provider offering classic Invisalign, Invisalign Teen and Invisalign Express.
