Code42 Names John Emerick Chief Financial Officer

Code42,a leading data security company, announced today that John Emerick joined the company as its chief financial officer. Emerick brings to the position a 30-year career, during which he has driven top-line growth, operational efficiencies and profitability at a variety of well-respected private and public companies.

As chief financial officer, Emerick will be responsible for scaling Code42’s financial and administrative infrastructure to support the company’s rapid growth. Emerick will oversee finance, accounting, sales operations, procurement and facilities.

Emerick served as chief financial officer at CyberGrants, LLC and International Decision Systems, Inc. as well as chief financial officer and chief operating officer at NorthStar Capital Markets Services, Inc. His previous positions also include executive posts at Fair Isaac Corporation, CIT Group Inc. and Ovation Communications, Inc.
