The award recognizes New England companies that achieve gender diversity in their executive suite and boardroom. Winners were announced during The Boston Club’s 2018 Corporate Salute event, which took place November 7 in Boston.

In the past year, Progress has appointed two women to its Board of Directors – Sam King, Senior Vice President, General Manager and Chief Strategy Officer of Veracode, and Angela Tucci, Chief Executive Officer of Apto. The two accomplished technology leaders represent important additions to the Board, bringing valuable software industry and entrepreneurial experience.
Progress also named a female executive officer, Loren Jarrett. In her role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the company, she is responsible for driving the company’s global marketing and strategy efforts. Jarrett is also currently spearheading Progress’ Inclusion and Diversity program, with a focus on attracting more women to the company, enabling their career growth, and creating a culture in which people of all backgrounds are valued and can do their best work.
