Hometown Urgent Care Gives Back to the Delaware Community

Offering Free Flu Shots to Delaware and Surrounding Area Residents

DELAWARE, Ohio - November 14, 2018 - (Newswire.com)

In a series of efforts to give back to the Delaware community, Hometown Urgent Care, Ohio’s largest urgent care system, is offering free flu shots (for the second weekend in a row) at their Delaware location on both Friday and Saturday, November 16, and 17, 2018 from 9 am – 5 pm. Neither an appointment nor proof of insurance will be needed.

The flu season extends from October through May, and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the vaccine reduces the risk of the flu illness by 50-60%. For those still planning on getting the flu vaccine, November is a pivotal time to get vaccinated before the holidays and seasonal changes.
