Lori Hardwick to Join Red Rock Strategic Partners as CEO of Wealth Tech

ATHENS, Ga. - June 11, 2019 - (Newswire.com)

Red Rock Strategic Partners, a premier consulting firm in the wealth management industry, is pleased to announce that Lori Hardwick will join as CEO, Wealth Tech, a division that provides consulting for top-tier firms in financial services. Hardwick will be leveraging her 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry to advise C-suite level executive teams to devise strategies for growth and provide thought leadership and coaching to executive teams. Her client roster represents a growing list of leading financial services companies, including Broker/Dealers, Wealth Management/TAMP Platforms, Asset Management firms and Clearing/Custodians.

“We could not be more excited to work with Lori. She is a consummate professional with deep working knowledge of the wealth management and the technology space,” said Matt Johnston, CEO of Red Rock. “In addition, Lori is serving on several corporate boards and works as a senior advisor to a handful of private equity firms, which helps provide a bird’s eye view of the future impact of technology on the wealth management landscape. It’s a great opportunity for Red Rock Strategic Partners to bring her unique lens on the industry to our team and to be able to bring her perspective to our clients as well.”

As CEO of Wealth Tech, and drawing upon her experience in key leadership roles, Lori will help her select list of clients determine unique strategies for growth and help execute against those blueprints via annual retainer engagements. The Wealth Tech division can also consult with institutional clients to help them create innovative, agile and flexible tech stacks that will help them better compete in today’s market.  Further, the team at Red Rock will help their clients drive adoption and monetization of current technologies deployed at the advisor level, which has been a mainstay of the Red Rock brand for many years now.

“For those who know me, they know I am extremely passionate about helping institutions in our industry create innovative technology to help advisors scale and grow. It pains me when advisors are not embracing new technology, especially when these firms have made a significant investment on their behalf,” said Hardwick. She added, “It was important to me to find a firm that would allow me to offer the full continuum of consulting solutions to my clients. I’ve known Matt Johnston (CEO of Red Rock) for many years and have always been impressed with how he and his talented team of consultants help drive new technology adoption to advisors. They have a unique way of helping the advisors apply meaning to the new tools/solutions so it’s much easier to implement the tools into their practice. I will be focused on working with the C-suite on creating a purposeful business strategy and then the extended team at Red Rock can also help drive the adoption of that strategy across the firm to the advisors their staff.”

Lori is a co-founder of Advisor Innovation Labs (AI Labs) and continues to serve as an active board member.  Prior to AI Labs, Lori served as Chief Operating Officer for Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, sharing leadership responsibility with the CEO for managing the Pershing family of companies. Previously, Lori was Group President of Advisory Services for Envestnet.  She was with Envestnet for 16 years, where she had served on the leadership team since its founding.

Lori serves on several boards and advisory boards within the financial industry and was just appointed to be Chairman of Riskalyze, where she has served on their board since early 2018. She also co-chairs MMI’s Women in Wealth Management Program and sits on the Executive Committee for the Envestnet Institute on Campus. Lori also serves on Ben Franklin’s Tech Partners External Review Committee in Philadelphia, helping identify early-stage investments and provide mentorship to local start-up firms.

Lori has received much industry recognition over the years. Most recently, she was recognized and profiled as one of Wealth Management Today’s “Winners in Wealthtech” in 2018.  In 2017, Lori was named to the “Women to Watch” list by InvestmentNews and also made the 2016 Investment Advisor’s list of “The 25 Most Influential People in the Financial Industry.” Lori was also named one of the “50 Most Influential Women in Private Wealth” by Private Asset Management magazine in 2015 and one of the “50 Top Women in Wealth” by AdvisorOne in 2011.
