Alcresta Therapeutics Announces Appointment of Daniel Orlando as Chief Executive Officer

Alcresta Therapeutics Inc., a leading commercial-stage company focused on developing and commercializing novel, enzyme-based products, announced the appointment of Daniel Orlando as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of the Board of Directors effective June 17, 2019.

Mr. Orlando joins Alcresta with more than 18 years of experience in executive roles leading organizations through rapid growth while successfully developing and launching therapeutics and biologics. Prior to joining Alcresta, Daniel was Chief Operating Officer at Vericel Corporation, where during his tenure he led every function of the cell therapy company, most recently, the Commercial, Manufacturing, Engineering and R&D organizations. Previously, Mr. Orlando held executive positions in Business Development, Marketing and Sales with Takeda as well as similar developmental roles at Abbott Laboratories.
