Sacramento Residents Gain Increased Access to Healthcare Services Through New Community Resource Center

WHAT:

In partnership with the Greater Sacramento Urban League and the National Minority Quality Forum, Health Net, LLC is hosting a grand opening for its new Community Resource Center (CRC), located inside the Greater Sacramento Urban League building.

As part of the event, Health Net will host a health fair, where attendees can receive blood pressure, dental, diabetes and vision screenings at no cost.

The Greater Sacramento Urban League will be hosting a job fair and career development training. The job fair includes no-cost workshops on resume writing and interviewing skills. Health Net, Volt Workforce Solutions, Pride Staffing, and others will conduct onsite interviews. Residents should come prepared with resumes.

WHY:

The Health Net Community Resource Center will serve as a one-stop shop for Health Net members, and the larger community. Members will be able to get assistance with health care services and benefits, help with customer service inquiries, and referrals for care coordination and community programs.

The Resource Center is also open to the greater Sacramento community. The Center will serve as a resource where residents can take part in health and wellness classes, receive information about health care coverage, and find resources to address health and social needs.
