Fed’s Mester says interest-rate cuts only needed if more bad economic data comes

Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester said Tuesday she now sees some chance a ‘weak-growth’ scenario could be emerging, which would call for interest-rate cuts, but it is still too soon to know for sure.
