This enclosure is made of cast aluminum and is designed to hold electrical equipment up to 18” by 24” by 8” in size. This unit is ideal for use indoors and outdoors in environments where flammable vapors, gases, and dusts may exist.
The EPL-AEB-18.24.8-VW-13X13 explosion proof enclosure is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C, and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This unit features a 13” by 13” viewing window on the lid allowing operators to see the enclosed devices. This enclosure is made of cast aluminum alloy and equipped with steel bolts with a weatherproof gasket for a NEMA 4 protection rating.
Larson Electronics’ device enclosure box is NEMA Type 4, 7 and 9 rated and each unit comes without factory conduit hub taps unless otherwise specified. This unit can be customized upon request for compatibility with existing systems, assemblies, work flows or processes. Suitable applications for this device include indoor and outdoor environments, hazardous locations where flammable or combustible gases, vapors, dusts, fibers, or flyings may exist, and more.
