This explosion proof unit provides manual starting and stopping of small AC and DC motors. This unit is for three-phase current up to 250V.
The EPS-2XPB-SG-3P explosion roof push button Stop/Start switch is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C, and D; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G; Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. This durable unit is rated for 10 amps at 250 volts and is enclosed in a cast iron device box. This unit features a faceplate that has double flanges that mate to the cover and the mounting enclosure to provide flame tight joints.
Larson Electronics’ explosion proof push button Stop/Start switch is made out of a malleable iron body with a cast copper-free aluminum alloy cover and is epoxy powder coated for a natural finish. The side rocker arm push button has lockout holes and the switches are supplied with an internal ground screw. This unit features 1/2" or 3/4" NPT hubs and features a feed through/dead end configuration. Suitable applications include industrial and commercial settings.
