Premier Sotheby’s International Realty announced today that Nancy Nagy has been appointed to the role of president. In this position, Nagy will be responsible for leading all sales operations of the $5 billion brokerage, a leading affiliate in the Sotheby’s International Realty® network ranked as the 34th largest real estate company in the country. She succeeds Budge Huskey, who was named chief executive officer on Jan. 1.
An accomplished leader with a proven track record of success, Nagy previously served as chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Homeservices Chicago, ranked among the top 10 in the franchise’s global network. During her 12-year tenure, she orchestrated significant growth through mergers and acquisitions, and also led affiliated service entities. In July 2019, she stepped back to an advisory role with the brokerage.
During her esteemed career, Nagy has been ranked on the Swanepoel Power 200 as one of the most powerful women executives in the residential real estate brokerage industry, as well as earning a spot among Crain’s Chicago Business 2019 Notable Women Executives.
