Storage Magazine and SearchStorage Name Pavilion Finalist for the 2019 Products of the Year Awards

Pavilion, the leader in NVMe-Over-Fabrics, announced today that its Hyperparallel Flash Array has been selected as a finalist in the 18th annual Storage magazine and SearchStorage Products of the Year awards. Entries were judged on the following criteria: performance, innovation, ease of integration, ease of use and manageability, functionality and value.

The article highlights Pavilion’s “fabric-centered approach to delivering storage, providing separate I/O channels for each CPU in the data plane.” It also elaborates on the “16 million 4K IOPS at less than 1-millisecond latency in a half-populated array,” mentioning that “hardware flexibility and no forklift upgrades are nice as well.”

This is the second year for Pavilion as a finalist for this award; the current recognition is for release 2.3 announced in the fall of 2019. “It’s an honor to be recognized by Storage magazine and SearchStorage two years in a row,” said Gurpreet Singh, Pavilion CEO. “The article brings greater visibility for the unmatched performance density we offer customers. The recognition also highlights OpenChoice, Pavilion’s customer-centric approach for media selection, which brings unprecedented flexibility and choice to customers’ environments.”
