​​​​​Due to the increasing global health crisis, and in the interest of everyone's safety and well-being at this time, the New York Jazz Workshop has decided to transition to online learning for all group workshops. On a positive note, this means that music students no longer need to visit NYC to enroll in live, interactive weekly jazz workshops led by all-star faculty — Aspiring musicians can participate from anywhere in the world. NYJW faculty members already have years of experience teaching in an online format and possess the ability to lead sessions in an exciting and informative way, while students remain in the comfort and safety of their own home. NYJW currently boasts an exciting lineup of 18 instrumental and vocal online weekly workshops arranged by musical style and level, with more being added in the coming weeks. There's something for everyone! Beginner musicians will learn the ins and outs of improvisation in the Blues and Beyond Workshop with Dave ScottIntro to Jazz Improvisation with Vito Lesczak and Joseph Lepore, or the Jazz Improv/Theory 2 Workshop with Marc Mommaas.
