Stafford Director Receives Prestigious Rotary Club Award

​The Stafford, an Avamere luxury independent and assisted living retirement community in Lake Oswego, Oregon, was recently recognized by the Rotary Club of West Linn. They honored Rita Segura, Marketing and Admissions Director at The Stafford, with the Club Service Above Self award at their meeting on March 5, 2020. The club cites this award as its highest honor.  

​Segura was recognized by President Dave Goode for two important contributions. First, she organized the effort to establish a working website for the club. With the help of a high school intern, the website now is automatically updated and kept current. Secondly, she helped promote the club’s largest fundraiser, the Stomp Out Barn Dance. The event sold out and by all accounts was considered a huge success.  

“I’m glad to be part of such an awesome organization that helps those in need,” noted Segura. “It feels good to be of service in my community.”
