Transitional Living Center Begins Accepting New Participants For Men and Women Programs Again

San Diego, CA - June 4, 2020 - The East County Transitional Living Center is thrilled to be accepting in-takes for its men and women's programs again! Both programs at ECTLC are aimed to help participants overcome life-controlling issues like drug or substance addictions, depression, and abuse. People enrolled in the program get to participate in a year-long process where they have the opportunity to cultivate a relationship with Jesus Christ, receive counseling, and build their resume with work therapy. All participants are provided with food, housing, education, and counseling at no cost.

The programs both take place in 3 phases. The first phase consists of 120 days when participants spend time in a separate location to help free them of previous bad habits or influences. Men in the program spend this time at a 12 Acre ranch in the rural community of Dulzura, where they can build healthy habits. Women in the program spend their first 120 days at a safe house in an undisclosed location.

After the first phase, participants stay at the main ECTLC campus and work to develop new skills. In the last phase of a person's stay, they begin to look for permanent employment and housing. When the program is complete, participants receive a graduation certificate and transition back into society.

ECTLC is excited to help more citizens practice healthy habits, create lasting relationships with Christ, and live fulfilling lives! To learn more about ECTLC, the programs they offer, and how to donate or volunteer, visit ECTLC's website!
