How Obi and Belinda Ndu help Couples with their Marriages while Maintaining Financial Freedom

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / September 16, 2020 / Obi and Belinda Ndu are the ultimate duo, being each others' partner for both business and in life. Together, they own multiple businesses, including, a tax franchise, a legal service, an identity theft protection firm, an ATM business, and a tax software company. Their passion, however, is the Marriage Academy, a marriage ministry that allows couples to increase the communication, connection, passion, and happiness in their relationship. Combined, they have 30 years of experience in entrepreneurship.

Obi and Belinda believe that business ownership is the true path to the American Dream.

"How many people do you know who have become financially successful through their jobs? We aren't knocking jobs, it's just that we know so many people that say they want financial freedom but circumstances don't permit them to venture out and do their own thing!" Obi and Belinda explain.

Fortunately for them and their clients, Obi and Belinda didn't settle for this path. They understood that there are "two economies" - the buyer and the seller. They believe that everyone falls into one of these two categories.

"Armed with that knowledge our business experience has been a very unique one because we didn't choose what businesses we engaged in the traditional way, our "secret sauce" has always been what do we want to supply," they say.

Although it may be hard to believe, Obi and Belinda both grew up poor. They saw their parents struggle, working several jobs just to put food on the table. While this hardship was difficult to endure throughout their youth, it ultimately was the motivation that pushed them towards becoming self made entrepreneurs.

"When you grow up that way you will either accept and reproduce the same lifestyle, or the pain of it will cause you to do something different. We chose the latter. It wasn't always easy, but the pain of staying the same was far greater than the pain of change," Obi and Belinda outline.

Now with their own booming businesses, Obi and Belinda keep the inspiration fresh by focusing on making their businesses "everything-proof", including world events like recessions or COVID-19, meaning their businesses are built to last.

Despite the great handle Obi and Belinda have on their businesses, they are not without their own challenges. Above all else, they believe the toughest part starting a business actually believing in succeeding in the face of adversity. In fact, they believe that most people don't realize how every one of their life experiences has shaped their world, determining that;s possible and how they see themselves.

"The impact of not realizing that fact is that it's easy to lose faith when challenges show up in your business. That slippery slope usually leads people to believe the challenges are greater than they can handle," say Obi and Belinda.

These challenges came to light in their biggest obstacle the business has faced so far, which was being a new start-up company in a very closed off community, without having a real blueprint of how to gain the trust and confidence of the community.

"We dealt with a lot of rejection and ridicule from the large competitors. That was over 10 years ago and we are still around and stronger than ever in the same community. We now own land and real estate in that same community and are now considered a staple business in the area," Obi and Belinda recall.

Overcoming challenges left and right has led to success in their field. Beyond that, Obi and Belinda look to further differentiate themselves from the competition by focusing on authenticity, integrity, and human touch, especially in this new age of social media.

"There are some simple truths that will never change. People still want to do business with people they know like and trust. Our customer care department is the highest paid in our company. We believe that customer experience is paramount. Every customer in our industry wants to be heard, and every customer wants premium customer service and quality work. Our competitors sadly, don't take the care that we do with customers," they say.

Within the next year, Obi and Belinda are looking to grow their marriage ministry, Marriage Academy, to a national enterprise. Through business partnerships, they plan to help more people succeed as entrepreneurs in the industry, and expand their 15 brick and mortar locations they currently have with Gap Tax Services and Tax Lady II LLC brands. On top of all that, they will also add a second hub location in the state of Georgia, where they will conduct year round trainings, expansion of their Tax Software department, as well as their Bookkeeping and Financial Planning services. Make sure to keep an eye out for their great incoming progress!
