Richard A. Amoedo Publishes a Book That Relates How Anyone Can Achieve a Fulfilled Life Comprised of Peace, Serenity, and Happiness

DALLAS, TX / ACCESSWIRE / December 3, 2020 / Richard A. Amoedo publishes Who's in Charge of My Mind? on the Kindle and paperback. He utilizes experiences from his life to outline practical life truths that apply to everyone.

Richard A. Amoedo launched "Who's in Charge of My Mind?" on Kindle and paperback. In this book, Richard communicates the way that his mind used to be his enemy - constantly judging himself and everyone else - and the steps he took to befriend his own mind so that it has now become a tremendous asset.

"I thought there was something wrong with me. I didn't know what it was or why, but I could feel it. My thoughts were running 200 miles-per-hour at all times, and the thoughts that came to me were almost entirely negative.

But I didn't understand the problem. The negative thoughts came without any desire or effort on my part. It was as if these thoughts were built into me, a part of me, and totally out of my control.

Eventually, as explained in the book, I began to see that my mind was operating without me. I wasn't in control of my own mind, and if I wasn't in control of it, then who was?"

States at 17. His only education was primary schooling, and he didn't even know how to speak English. After 20 years, at 37, he found himself materialistically well off with 5 stores, a brand-new Porsche 928, 3 houses, a wife, a son, and two girlfriends. In other words, he had achieved what society had communicated he needed to be happy. But in the process, Richard had lost himself.

"The reason for the name of this book, "Who's in Charge of My Mind?" is that this question needs to be answered because it points to the reader's problem, which needs to be understood. The book contains a collection of stories from my life that illustrates useful spiritual principles that demonstrate the reality of our lives. The purpose of the book is for each reader to apply similarities in their personal stories to mine and to see how certain life truths operate in their lives, also. The goal for the reader is to find a way to become happy and serene through the process of eliminating the destructive, negative thoughts that generally dominate their emotions and behaviors."

Richard explores topics common to all faiths and religions: Faith; Humility, and Spirituality. These core concepts, alongside many others, provide the building blocks for the reader's development so that they may hopefully achieve a state of serenity, peace, happiness, and usefulness to others. As Richard communicates, the hope just mentioned is the author's desire for the reader to side-step the many mistakes he has made along the way so that they will not suffer for as long as he did due to his own ignorance.
