Practices Via The SBCC Georgia business expert, Chrissy Steed launches certified board to help small businesses stay in good standing with the public

Atlanta, GA - November 30th, 2022 - Small and micro businesses need all the accreditation possible to formulate public trust. Small Business Character Certified (SBCC) created a program for small businesses to publicly stand in agreement with ethical business practices. This certification will improve the reputation, sales, and growth of any business. The public can currently search and suggest SBCC registered and certified businesses on the official website. Individual business leaders can register to take the assessment and receive certification by selecting “get certified” on the SBCC homepage.

This launch for the SBCC will only focus on The United States exclusively. Businesses across the country will have the opportunity to earn a certification. CEO of the Small Business Character Certified Program, Chrissy Steed states, “Businesses across the United States should be held accountable for their business character and decisions and should be visible to the public.

According to the easy to use website, this will enable businesses to identify, investigate and improve employment conditions within their management. Issues can be self-reported by a member of the public, another business owner, or an employee. The board of the SBCC further investigates any issues brought forward to them in efforts to fix an establishment’s standing. After the business leadership applies and completes all the work needed to certify for good standing, the company will then earn its official certification. SBCC Accreditation program founded by Chrissy Steed aims to increase business character & ethics through legitimacy, integrity, trustworthiness, safety, responsibility, quality, transparency, community engagement, and responsiveness.

The list of certified businesses will be accessible to the public, media, other business leaders, and borrowing financial institutions for support and future business purposes. The program will provide training to better understand and act upon audit results, create solutions and improvement plans and upon completion provide the ethical business certification. Join us as we seek to eradicate unethical business practices across small businesses.
