PRECISION DRILLING CORPORATION
ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF A MEMBER OF THE BOARD
Precision Drilling Corporation ("Precision") announces that Mr. Steven C. Grant
has tendered his resignation from the Board of Directors of Precision, to be
effective immediately. Mr. Grant, a senior executive with Raymond James &
Associates Inc., stated that with the current emphasis on increasing the ratio
of independent directors and the ever-broadening interpretations of what
relationships might conflict a director's independence, it was in Precision's
best interest for him to resign. Precision has valued the contribution that
Steven Grant has made over the past three years, to the Board of Directors of
Precision.
