Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

     Cardinal Heath, Inc. (the “Company”) stated today that one of its subsidiaries had received a subpoena from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of New York. The Company believes that the New York Attorney General is conducting a broad industry inquiry that appears to focus on the secondary market within the wholesale pharmaceutical industry and that the Company is one of multiple parties that have received such a subpoena. The Company intends to be fully responsive to the New York Attorney General’s Office in its investigation.
