Milwaukee, WI – The family law firm Divergent Family Law grants Zoey Calvin a $500 scholarship for her attendance at Marquette University. Picked from applicants from all over the state, Zoey Calvin is the winner thanks to her inspiring essay discussing how the role of family dynamics shape personal growth and development.
Divergent Family Law offers an annual scholarship to graduating high school seniors or college students of any year. Any student can apply as long as they plan to attend an accredited college or trade school in the coming year and provide the necessary information. Applicants are asked to send in their most recent transcript and an essay discussing the year's prompt.

In her essay, Calvin discusses the complications of family and expands the definition of family to include all those in her life who support her. Calvin graduated high school from Golda Meir and is now headed to Marquette University. Life will continue to bring challenges to face, and Calvin’s expanded definition of family will only allow her to receive more of the support she deserves.
