Newly Launched DELIMa 2.0 Platform, A Perfect Combination with Arvia Smartboard ChromeOS

Puchong, Selangor Sep 9, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - On the 22nd of August, 2022, Datuk Dr. Mohd Radzi bin Md Jidin, the Minister of Education of Malaysia announced the launch of the DELIMa 2.0 platform in Digital Educational Learning Initiative Malaysia (DELIMa): Agenda Digital Kita at Dewan Perdana Putra, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 8(1). Arvia was invited by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) to share and showcase their revolutionary technology, Arvia Smartboard ChromeOS during the event.

"Ministry of Education (MOE) consistently strives to provide access and teaching and learning content (PdP) for the use of teachers and students, including support materials for students with special needs. In fact, students and teachers are also encouraged to prepare PdP content to share with the education community," said Datuk Dr. Mohd Radzi bin Md Jidin.

He continued, until last August 4, 99 percent of teachers and 85 percent of students were using DELIMa in PdP actively involving 5.3 million users which includes all teachers and students in schools under the MoE. According to the Ministry of Education, they have made significant progress in the continuous transformation with DELIMa. "The project was introduced in 2019, and was implemented with a phased approach since then and continued in the DELIMa 2.0 this year.

The DELIMa platform is the first learning platform in the world that incorporates all the latest technologies through its unique architectural development plan. Adaptation and integration developed by MoE were implemented with support from the Education Implementation and Performance Unit (PADU). Arvia smartboard integrates and works well with DELIMa which incorporates Google Workspace For Education ecosystem.

"Arvia Smartboard that runs ChromeOS enables teachers to incorporate technology into their lessons easily by using contemporary digital educational content on Digital Educational Learning Initiative Malaysia (DELIMa) and keep their students engaged and excited about learning, " said Najib Habeb, founder of Arvia, during the event.

Among the key features of Arvia Smartboard ChromeOS is responsive touch capability on any Google application, the school can choose from thousands of their favorite and preferred teaching applications in the Google Play Store, Chrome Web Store, or Chromebook App Hub, and the operating system will be updated automatically.
