LaunchKC effort moves to cement up-and-coming social ventures in community

Under LaunchKC's new Social Venture Studio, a cohort of five to seven businesses will undergo a program through which they'll receive grant awards, mentoring and network connections, among other benefits. The initiative seeks to cement those startups' presence in Kansas City by helping them create sustainable business models.
