Why Markets Aren’t Ready For The Bank Of England To Start Selling Bonds

The BoE has said it will ‘consider’ selling gilts back into the market once Bank Rate hits 1%, which could be reached as soon as next week. But poor market liquidity and elevated volatility suggest the committee is more likely to hold off for now.
