Singapore - November 14, 2022 - Deelish Brands, a Singapore-headquartered company that owns and operates a portfolio of halal restaurants, announced that it has successfully completed its S$2 million Pre-Series A round. Deelish Brands operates franchised brands which includes Fatburger & Buffalos, 800 Degrees and Blimpie. The Company has also developed original concepts, such as Buttrmilk, which serves fried chicken and waffles. Deelish Brands has eight restaurant locations in Singapore with three more currently under development.

Deelish Brands will use the proceeds from the Pre-Series A to roll out smaller footprint, multi-concept locations. The Company expects to end the year with 11 locations and has plans to double in size to over 20 locations by 2023.
“We are heading into a period of significant economic uncertainty. Labor markets are in flux, energy costs are rising, and inflation is likely to be stubborn for at least another year. We expect the consumer to be under increased pressure. In anticipation, we have adapted our strategy to focus on smaller locations that offer multi-concepts with menus at friendly price points. Many of our new locations will feature our own original concepts, such as Buttrmilk,” said Moe Ibrahim.
