Online satellite winners deliver strong performances in record-setting live poker tournament

PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS / ACCESS Newswire / December 23, 2025 / Players who qualified online through Americas Cardroom recorded notable success at the $60 Million GTD WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, with 17 qualifiers finishing in the money for a combined $1,175,000 in winnings.

The Super Main Event marked the largest guaranteed live poker tournament ever held, highlighting the expanding role of online poker qualification in elite live competition.

Americas Cardroom awarded 100 seats through online satellites, offering players across multiple bankroll levels access to one of poker's most prestigious events.

Leonardo Song-Carrillo of Canada qualified via a $1,000 + $50 online satellite and finished 78th, earning $107,500.

Dmitry Lukyanov turned an $11 super satellite entry into a $30,000 WSOP Paradise package, later securing $55,000 with a 251st-place finish in the Super Main Event.

Love defeated Blaz Zerjav heads-up in a 509-player field to claim $145,725, adding a significant achievement for the Americas Cardroom poker community.
