Splash Sports Launches Over $5 Million in Contest Prizes for the 2026 NCAAB Tournament, Led by Nick Wright's $3 Million Survivor Madness World Championship

As the home of college basketball Survivor contests, Splash Sports delivers its largest tournament slate to date featuring the biggest guaranteed college basketball Survivor contest ever offered, alongside thousands of commissioner-created contests

Splash Sports, the leader in skill-based social sports gaming, today announced more than $5 million in total guaranteed contest prizes across its 2026 college basketball tournament slate. The lineup features Nick Wright's $3 Million Survivor Madness World Championship - the largest guaranteed college basketball Survivor contest ever offered on a peer-to-peer platform - alongside the $1 Million VSiN High Stakes contest and KellyInVegas' $250,000 Survivor Madness.

"We built Splash to be the definitive home of Survivor, and college basketball is where that format really shines," said co-CEO TJ Ross. “Traditional brackets ask you to make 63 predictions before tip-off - and most are busted by Day 1. Survivor is different: one pick every single day of the tournament, but every decision matters. You need your team to win, and you need to manage which teams you have left. It's simple enough for anyone and strategic enough to keep you locked in all tournament long. The format is electric and shows why Survivor is becoming the fastest growing contest format on the planet.”

Splash Sports will be rolling out several opportunities for fans to win cash and prizes during this year’s college basketball tournament including:

  • Contests commissioned by renowned creators such as former pro football quarterback Kurt Benkert; former pro football offensive lineman turned broadcaster, Ross Tucker; basketball analyst Ryan Hammer; the Field of 68 podcast and others.
  • The Splash x Cuts $60,000 Bracket Challenge: Splash is proud to partner with Cuts Clothing on a free-to-play bracket, which will award the top 1,000 finishers with prizes ranging from cash to Cuts gift cards.

In addition to its flagship contests, Splash empowers commissioners to create and run their own Survivor and Pick'em skill-based contests with custom entry fees, flexible rules, and instant payouts. New features for 2026 include a Pick by Round template, autopick functionality, and revival options.

This launch follows Splash Sports’ recent expansion into New York State and comes as the company continues to see accelerating growth in paid active users across its peer-to-peer contest platform. Unlike sportsbooks, Splash does not set odds or take positions against its users - all contests are peer-to-peer, with participants competing against one another.
