JUNIOR PATRIOTS PARTNERS WITH RETIRED UPS CEO, RON WALLACE TO RESTORE PATRIOTISM TO AMERICA’S YOUTH AND ADULTS
Junior Patriots, the preferred charity of Smith Profits, today announced an expanded national initiative to inspire youth through patriotic writing and publishing. In partnership with retired police officer, UPS executive, and #1 Best Selling Author Ron Wallace, Junior Patriots™ is inviting students of all ages to contribute essays to its flagship book series, What I Love About America!
This initiative gives young Americans—from kindergarten to grad school, including those in the workforce or seeking employment—a unique opportunity to become published, and even #1 Best Selling authors. Junior Patriots™ seeks to equip students with lifelong confidence and credentials they can proudly include on college applications, job résumés, and leadership portfolios.
A Mission Rooted in Patriotism and Purpose
Founded by Robert J. Smith, a financial industry veteran turned author and media producer, Junior Patriots™ was created to provide students with the publishing opportunities Smith never had in his youth. After helping clients achieve bestselling author status through Smith Profits™, Smith launched the charity to bring those same achievements to America’s next generation.
“Now is the time to bring patriotism back into America’s schools,” said Robert J. Smith, MFA. “Through publishing, we’re giving students a voice, a goal, and a sense of accomplishment. They don’t just become authors—they become best-selling authors who reflect deeply on what makes America worth celebrating.”
The program draws inspiration from Smith’s own children, whose essays were published during their school years. With his professional publishing background—including the INFLUENCE IN ACTION series and contributions to SALES GENIUS #1, which outranked The Way of the Wolf by Jordan Belfort—Smith is committed to helping young writers reach national bestseller lists.
Ron Wallace Joins as Strategic Partner
In 2024, Smith partnered with Ron Wallace, author of American Madness: Waking Up to Woke, to expand Junior Patriots’ national reach. Wallace, a retired CEO of UPS International and former police officer, brings decades of global leadership and civic experience.
“Patriotism is not about blind loyalty—it’s about understanding the values that made this country great,” said Wallace. “Through these books, students will develop critical thinking, civic pride, and the confidence to lead.”
Wallace’s bestselling book addresses cultural shifts and ideological debates in modern America, offering a commonsense perspective on national identity, integrity, and freedom. His leadership background spans over 30 board positions, a mayoral chairmanship, and numerous civic honors.

How It Works
Participants submit individual essays reflecting on what they love about America. Essays are published in themed anthologies under the What I Love About America! banner. The organization’s goal is to turn 1,000 students into #1 Best Selling Authors in 2025, and scale that number to 10,000 annually by 2026.
Schools, youth sports leagues, scouting groups, and community organizations are also encouraged to participate by submitting group anthologies.
Sponsorships are available for as little as $76 per student, and recurring donations begin at $17.76/month—a symbolic nod to the year of American independence. Donations cover publication, coaching, marketing, and Best Seller promotion efforts.
A Scalable Movement with Real Impact
With a growing footprint and a focus on character-building, the Junior Patriots™ program is gaining attention for its unique blend of civic engagement, education, and publishing.
“Rather than simply lament the loss of patriotism, we’re rebuilding it—one student, one book, one community at a time,” said Smith.
The organization will release ongoing anthologies throughout 2025 and 2026, supported by corporate sponsors, individual donors, and educational partners. The program also offers youth media training, author coaching, and post-publication recognition.
