National HBCU Business Deans Looking to Build a Bigger Impact.

Westlake, Tx. – 5-26-22 – The 19th Annual HBCU Business Deans Roundtable Summit is coming to Westlake, Texas on the campus of Deloitte University, June 2 – 4, 2022. This year’s theme is “HBCUs Building Bigger Impact”. This annual summit provides a forum for deans of Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) business schools to address opportunities and challenges associated with enhancing business programs and initiatives.

At this year’s summit several key issues will be addressed, including:

• Securing increased funding through collaboration

• Pivoting and scaling African American products

• Public/private partnerships utilizing service and experiential learning to facilitate student engagement

• Enhancing the financial and economic literacy of college students at HBCUs

• The future of work and the implications for higher education

“The HBCU Business Deans Roundtable Summit this year is a historic event on many levels,” says Program Chair and President-elect JoAnn Rolle, Ph.D. (Dean School of Business Medgar Evers College at City University of New York). “First, we are being hosted and housed on the site of our strategic partner Deloitte at their Executive facility in Westlake, Texas, “Deloitte University”. Second, this is the first conference being delivered in hybrid mode accommodating worldwide speakers and virtual participation by member deans. Third, this is the first Deans’ Summit that simultaneously will be executed with an on-site Student Summit, facilitated by our sponsors.

The purpose of HBCU Business Deans Roundtable is to provide a forum for deans of HBCU business schools to address opportunities and challenges associated with enhancing business programs and initiatives.
