“Running a yoga retreat company, I noticed a common issue: Most clients prefer using their own mat but they struggled with taking them onto planes, and often got charged extra,” says founder and CEO Belal Breaga Bakht on the inspiration behind the project. “Back in London, if clients wanted to go to a cafe after class, they’d have to carry their rolled up yoga mats with them - that’s two bags, and inconvenient. So, after a couple of weeks of studying Origami, and a few months of development, I designed BelaBag.”
