Charlotte, North Carolina--(Newsfile Corp. - August 20, 2024) - CTK Bio, a leader in truly biodegradable and 100% home compostable materials, is proud to announce its partnership with the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA) to introduce sustainable paper cups at the Charlotte Convention Center and the NASCAR Hall of Fame. This initiative marks a significant step towards environmental sustainability as CRVA transitions to eco-friendly products.
As part of this partnership, CRVA will be debuting CTK Bio's innovative paper cups for various Charlotte Convention Center and NASCAR Hall of Fame events, underscoring their commitment to reducing environmental impact. These paper cups, along with other sustainable products such as cutlery kits and additional paper products, are crafted from CTK Bio's advanced compostable materials. This ensures they are not only biodegradable but also compostable, aligning perfectly with the growing demand for eco-conscious alternatives.
One of the key features of CTK Bio's paper cups and paper products is their lining with a home compostable material. Unlike conventional paper cups and products that typically contain a conventional plastic lining (most commonly lined with polyethylene), CTK Bio's products are free from traditional plastics, making them completely home compostable on very quick timelines, even in unmanaged environments. Furthermore, these products do not contain any PLA (polylactic acid) or PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), which are commonly found in other compostable and conventional products but are known to persist in the environment. Best of all, there's no need to recycle-just throw it away! The cup will naturally decompose, leaving no harmful residue.
These sustainable paper cups are designed to accommodate both hot and cold beverages, including alcoholic drinks, making them versatile for all types of refreshments available at Charlotte Convention Center and NASCAR Hall of Fame events.
"We are thrilled to partner with CRVA and bring our sustainable solutions to such a prestigious platform as NASCAR," said JK Park, CEO of CTK Bio. "This collaboration showcases our dedication to providing environmentally friendly products that do not compromise on quality or performance. By transitioning to our biodegradable and compostable materials, CRVA is setting a powerful example in the sports and entertainment industry."
The introduction of CTK Bio's sustainable paper cups will take place at the upcoming NASCAR Hall of Fame events in Charlotte, offering fans, guests, and event attendees a greener way to enjoy their beverages. This move is part of CRVA's broader strategy to enhance sustainability across its operations, ensuring that visitors can enjoy events while minimizing their ecological footprint.
CRVA is committed to leading the way in sustainability. Partnering with CTK Bio allows the company to provide NASCAR fans with environmentally friendly options without sacrificing convenience or enjoyment. This initiative reflects their ongoing efforts to implement sustainable practices and reduce waste across all our events.
The new sustainable products will be available at concession stands throughout the events, making it easier than ever for attendees to participate in this eco-friendly movement. This partnership not only benefits the environment but also enhances the overall experience for visitors by offering high-quality, sustainable alternatives.
CTK Bio and CRVA are excited to embark on this journey together, setting a new standard for sustainability in the sports and entertainment sector. Fans can look forward to enjoying their favorite events with a reduced environmental impact, thanks to the innovative and responsible solutions provided by CTK Bio.
