Colgate-Palmolive (CL) Q3 Earnings: What To Expect

Consumer products company Colgate-Palmolive (NYSE: CL) will be announcing earnings results this Friday before the bell. Here’s what you need to know.

Colgate-Palmolive beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 1.5% last quarter, reporting revenues of $5.11 billion, up 1% year on year. It was a satisfactory quarter for the company, with a decent beat of analysts’ revenue estimates but gross margin in line with analysts’ estimates.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Colgate-Palmolive’s revenue to grow 2.1% year on year to $5.14 billion, in line with the 2.4% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.89 per share.
